Ryan Claytor to speak at the ToonSeum, August 5th 6:30pm

The ToonSeum presents comic artist and professor Ryan Claytor, Thursday August 5th at 6:30pm
Join Comics Artist and Professor, Ryan Claytor, for a discussion of his work in autobiographical comics. Claytor will review his latest projects, outline his working process and field questions on self-publishing, autobiography, and comics in the university classroom. Claytor is currently touring the United States and Canada promoting his nationally distributed autobiographical comic book series titled, And Then One Day.
Claytor is most well-known for publishing his all-ages autobiographical comic book series entitled And Then One Day under the moniker Elephant Eater Comics. He recently announced the final line-up for his ambitious North American Comic Book Tour, which will take him to 25 different locations in 15 states and 5 Canadian provinces.
Along the way, Claytor will meet readers (both new and returning), promote his books, and deliver the occasional artist lecture on his work in autobiographical comics, self-publishing and comics in the university classroom (at the Pittsburgh ToonSeum [Pittsburgh, PA], Center for Cartoon Studies [White River Junction, VT], and Portland Public Library [Portland, ME]). See attached schedule for dates and times.
